What is Demo Day?

On Demo Day, founders present their companies to a panel of judges and press. Eight companies will be chosen to a specially selected group of Canadian, US, and International investors. Demo Day winner will receive $25K in prizes. Demo Day currently is an online-only event.

How do I get an invitation to Demo Day?

If you are an entrepreneur interested in pitching, apply here

For investors, invitations are based primarily on your investment history, You can also apply to attend.

If you'd like to attend as a guest, you can reserve your spot here. Please note that Demo Day is open to the public, and there is no charge to attend, but availability is limited.

Why didn’t I receive an invitation after I applied to pitch?

We have limited capacity available and receive far more qualified applications than we have room for.

When do you stop taking applications to attend Demo Day?

Applications are accepted on rolling basis. Once the cohort is full for the upcoming Demo Day, you will be considered for the next one. Please refer to our home page for the application deadline for the upcoming Demo Day. Any submissions received after that would be considered for the next Demo Day.

What does it cost to pitch at Demo Day?

Demo Day is free of cost for startups. There is no charge for entrepreneurs to present at Demo Day and win prizes.

How is Demo Day structured?

Demo Day takes place over two hours. The founders present their companies to the audience, and each group of presentations is punctuated with breaks where the attendees can network.

Can I get information on which companies will be presenting?

We don't share information on the companies in advance of Demo Day. List will be shared at the beginning of the event. However, you can check our social channels for posts on many of the companies presenting.
