TiE Incubation Lab

Based in Vancouver BC, TiE Incubation Lab is not-for-profit focused on supporting Canadian pre-seed founders and startups. The lab supports TiE Vancouver’s mission of fostering Canadian entrepreneurs by providing high potential Canadian startups with mentorship, advisory and hands-on support required to increase their fundability potential in the US and globally. The programming is being offered in partnership with TiE Global Angels and TiE’s extended worldwide investor network.

We run 4 cohorts a year:

  1. February intake (application deadline January 31st)

  2. May intake (application deadline April 30th)

  3. August intake (application deadline July 31st)

  4. November intake (application deadline October 31st)

Founders can apply through the form below at any time. Applications received between intakes will be considered for the next cohort.

What can I expect?

What does it involve?

We are seeking Canadian innovation with potential for world-changing impact and global application. Selected projects will be matched with Canadian, US and global strategic advisors for support in preparing for the fundraising process. The companies meeting the fundability criteria will be provided access to the world’s largest pool of angel investors - TiE Global Angels, plus TiE’s extended global investor networks in Canada, US and worldwide.

How long is the incubator programming?

The program is customized for every project, with an average duration of 3-6 months.

Who can apply?

There is no cost to apply, and we welcome applications from all Canada-based early-stage founders.
